Rules and Conditions of entry for the 2008 Shoalhaven classic ,William Cross Pro Am and Australian Open

I must be present and ready to play at 30 minutes prior to the commencement of my game. Depending on the draw I may also be required to chalk at that time.

I am aware that I will get no refund of entry fee should I be late or not turn up.

I understand that the 3-minute rule will be strictly adhered to throughout al events.

I understand that I must chalk when called upon to do so by an official. Failure to do so will stop me playing in the next event and the forfeit of any prize money owing.

I understand that I must be there to collect prize money, and that no other person can collect prize money on my behalf and that if I am absent during presentations I will forfeit any money I may have won.

A player at the throw-line will not commence their throw until their opponent is back behind the throw-line. Any infringement to this rule shall incur a penalty of "a loss of shot." (Three darts)

All players shall promptly retrieve their darts after their shot in such a manner as not to interfere with the opposing player.

A player once commencing their throw shall not leave the immediate playing area. (board) Any player doing so shall forfeit that shot. (3 darts)

All players may be subject to a random drug test at any time during the tournament

Dress Code:

No player shall play in this tournament if he/She is wearing tracksuit pants, or trousers not deemed suitable. All shirts must have a collar.
Hats or headwear are not permitted unless for proven Medical or Religious reasons. Shoes must completely cover the feet sandals and or thongs cannot be worn.

ADVERTISING:

The Organisers reserve the rights to the use of all advertising materials, slogans, or logos in connection with the promotion and organisation of the tournament.

The Organisers reserve the right to protect their sponsors' interests with regard to any advertising material, slogans, or logos used by players, teams, or other sponsors.

Players shall not be allowed to wear any clothing that bears any advertising material, slogans, or logos relating to any marketable product, or concern without the prior permission of the Organisers.

Players shall not be allowed to use any playing equipment that bears any advertising material, slogans, or logos relating to any marketable product, or concern without the prior permission of the Organisers.

Before a match, the Organisers are empowered to request a player to withdraw or remove any advertising material. Slogans, or logos.

Any player who refuses to comply with such a request shall forfeit that match.

Smoking and Drinking:

All Players and Officials shall refrain from smoking and consuming alcoholic beverages while they are participating in any match play and during introductions, interviews and presentations.

All decisions made by the match committee and tournament director shall be binding and NO correspondence will be entered in to.

All prize monies for ALL Events will Strictly be not be paid out until the Duration of each event. I understand if I am not present that I forfeit all prize monies.

The event sponsors promoters and organisers reserve the right to refuse entry without discussion to any of the 3 events including the Shoalhaven classic ,the William cross pro am and Australian open and or any exhibition event run in conjunction with these events

Release of Liability:

All players participating in any and all Dartplayers Australia and associated events are bound by the release of Liability below

In consideration for the acceptance of my entry, I for myself and assigns, do hereby release and discharge Dartplayers Australia, Park Trent Properties, the event venue, event hosts and other sponsors, and their assigns, from any and all rights, claims for damages, demands or causes of action whatsoever, in any manner arising from or relating to my participation in any Dartplayers Australia events.

I also give permission for the use of my name and/or picture in any media of Dartplayers Australia.

I attest that I have read and understand all the rules associated with Dartplayers Australia Tournaments. and my submission of my nomination form states that I have read, understood, and fully accepted the above statements
